Nancy Marie Steer, 55, of Denton, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Nancy Steer was preceded in death by her father Gary Steer and Mother Joan Brown Steer and survived by Norine Tierney (Cousin) New York, Cynthia Beneati (Cousin), and Tricia Marshall (Cousin), and her God daughter Martina Moreno and many beloved friends.

Nancy spent her early childhood years in New York and later relocated to the DFW area with her parents where she worked as a certified medical assistant in Grapevine, Texas for 23 years. Nancy showed wonderful compassion and caring to her patients over her years in working in healthcare. Nancy was a wonderful care giver for her parents for years prior to their passing.

Nancy had a strong desire to help her friends and family and would work tirelessly to do anything for them in their time of need. She volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House regularly to help assist the families of children that required medical care. She was the party planner for all her friends making them feel loved and celebrated. She loved getting a mani/pedi, food and travel but loved nothing more than her love of animals. Her warm heart and compassion will live on in the hearts and memories of her family and friends.

Please do not send flowers. If desired please make a donation to the Ronald Mc Donald House Charity or the ASPCA.
