Nancy L. Stetler

Michael J. Grant Funeral Homes of Brentwood, N.Y., is honored to be entrusted with the funeral services of, Nancy L. Stetler. Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Visiting will begin in the afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again in the evening from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Private Cremation.

Nancy Louise Stetler (Greenwood) was born on August 8, 1946, in Ridgewood, New York, to Cliff and Muriel Greenwood. She grew up in Brooklyn alongside her two brothers, Robert and Gary Greenwood.

In the 1950s, the Greenwood family moved to Brentwood, Long Island, where Nancy would spend most of her life. In her late teens, she met the love of her life, Harold Stetler, and together they built a beautiful life in Brentwood. They raised three children - Donna, Harold (Bully) and Kelli - and later welcomed eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.

Nancy created countless happy memories with her family and friends. She had many hobbies, including ceramics, and especially loved playing bingo with her friends. She and Harold also sharing their love of classic cars.

Music was one of Nancy's greatest joys. She had a deep love for doo-wop and classic rock even some heavy metal! where she would get the nickname (Momma Metal) and she loved attending concerts with her loved ones.

In her professional life, Nancy worked as an executive hotel manager, where she was admired not only for her leadership but also for the kindness and care she showed her staff.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her passions, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends.
