2024 is my first year riding as a survivor (14th overall) and I am thankful every day that I am able to ride and thrive.

Thank you so much for the Pelotonia Donation received today! I am blessed!! I am a 20 year rider/survivor of stage IV Melanoma.

I read her obituary and see that she was passionate for biking and children and the tie to Pelotonia is more clear. I have raised funds for cancer research in all 16 Pelotonias, riding on a Team Buckeye Melanoma team sometimes with our Captain --my Oncologist. Lets keep hoping we can find cures for most cancers.

We just found out about Nancy's illness and passing and our thoughts are with your family. We were neighbors a long timer ago in Williams Creek and we know John, Ellen and Aryl through our son David. May the memory of Nancy Stimson be for a blessing.

Nancy was a dear friend and fearless leader of Freewheelin'. Her impact on the bicycling community and Indianapolis youth cannot be overstated. I thoroughly enjoyed working with and for her at Freewheelin'. I will dearly miss our coffee meetings, lunches at Duos, bike rides, and general camaraderie around biking and youth development. She was inspiration to me and will always be. Her positive spirit and smile will forever live on in my heart.

John and family, Felipe and I cannot begin to imagine how hard these past months have been for you. We grieve with you for the loss of Nancy and her bright spirit who had so much to give the world and the Indianapolis community. Our thoughts and hearts will continue to be with you in the weeks and months ahead. Holding you close in our thoughts and hoping you are doing OK.

So sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. Thoughts and prayers out to Mr Stimson, John and Teddy and the family. I will always remember her as "Aunt Nancy", and as one of the kindest and most uplifting people in our community. I knew Nancy mostly by her good work and the few times we met when I heard about her interests and adventures.

Blessing to Nancy ' s family may you find strength and peace in your faith. Nancy was a customer of mine at the now closed Starbuck store at Fall Creek and College and I recalled how she always had a smile for you. We learned that her Uncle Dave was a member of my church (FMHPC) and so she and I would have updates to pass on to Dave. I always loved seeing her come into my store. I believe she is now with her heavenly Father and in peace. Ride on sweet Nancy.

My mom's friend Nancy was always so fun and full of love for life! I admired her spirit and hope, and pray that John and her sons find some consolation in the love everyone bears for Nancy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am so sorry she has passed but imagine her bicycling in heaven bell and all! She was such a lovely person. ~Blessings

Nancy's life was an inspiration to me and will continue to be such. We were friends before we were born, as our mothers were best of friends. Nancy brought me into MYF, which saved my life and soul as a teenager. I remember tenting with Nancy in the Smokies and being on "bear watch" with the Colman lanterns and pots for banging! Nancy was such fun, always! But her more serious side produced poems like "The View from the Top" referring to the Chimney Tops in the Smokies and the toil that it took to get there, but the spectacular view made it all possible! Nancy always listened with the heart. I'll miss her very much. My condolences go out to John and her sons, and to Ted and Dottie. I'll be in Virginia on Friday, so will not be able to attend services, but will be with you in prayer and spirit. Love, Ruthie Davis Lasseter
