I am saddened to hear of your loss. Please take comfort in knowing she is at peace now and no more pain. My prayers to you Mr. Thalhimer and all of your family.

I first met Nancy in 1982 when I began working for the CEO at Sheltering Arms Hospital. As a board member, Nancy was tireless in her work with patients and staff. Over the next 17 years, we developed a wonderful relationship and enjoyed sharing stories about our families and friends. Sheltering Arms fostered a family atmosphere among its board members and staff, and Nancy was like a mother to many of us. When I began working at the Red Cross in 1999, I kept up with Nancy through Mort and Richard. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you all during this time. May your memories include many happy times together.
