Nancy Tipps Obituary
She is survived by her daughter, Tracie (Kevin) Hite; granddaughter, Katelyn Hite and brother, Jerry (Brenda) Copeland.
Nancy enjoyed making jewelry and took pleasure in collecting teddy bears, coins, and Barbie dolls. She also enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, including The Golden Girls, The Andy Griffith Show, and the Game Show Network. She was a fifth-grade history teacher at Byars Dowdy, where she spent years teaching and caring for her students.
She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church and was active in the Oakland Club and the Home Demonstration Club. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, that took great pride in her granddaughter, Katelyn.
Visitation for Mrs. Tipps will take place on Thursday, February 12th from 4 to 7 PM and again on Friday from 11 AM until the funeral service at 1 PM at Partlow Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
