Nancy Louise Walton

Nancy Louise Hatfield Walton, 84, wife of Johnny Mack Walton, Sr. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, December 19, 2025.

Born February 9, 1941, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late H. D. Hatfield, Sr. and the late Jeroline "Jerry" Atkinson Yelton. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she served faithfully. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that dedicated her life to caring for her family.

Survivors in addition to her husband of 64 years include four children, Pamela W. Bordeaux (Shawn), Ginny Helms, Johnny M. Walton, Jr. (Elaina), and Jeff Walton (Margaret); eight grandchildren; Hillary Bordeaux Wilt (Matt), Hannah Bordeaux (Fiancé, Hamilton Cox), Sullivan Helms, Charleston Helms, Alexa Walton, Johnny M. Walton, III, Montgomery Walton, and James Walton; one great grandson, Hayden Wilt; two sisters, Charlene Weeks (Tommy) and Tracy Hawks (Ricky); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hailey Bordeaux; and her brother, Harold D. "Hal" Hatfield, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. (Noon) Monday, December 22 at Westminster Presbyterian Church officiated by the Rev. Stuart Mizelle. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Quinn, Vic Brown, Jared Addison, Wade Walton, Shane Walton, and Trey Hatfield.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday prior to the service at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
