Nancy WESTERGOM

WESTERGOM Nancy July 10, 1952 - March 12, 2026 Nancy Lee Westergom, a resident of the Somerton section of Philadelphia, died Thursday, March 12, 2026 at her residence. She was 73. Born and raised in Kensington, Nancy was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Achilles) Keller. She attended Webster Elementary School and was a graduate of Frankford High School class of 1970. As coworkers, Nancy met her late husband Michael Westergom at Keystone Shipping (married December 14, 1982). They both enjoyed living and raising their children for nearly two decades in the Lower Mayfair area of Philadelphia. Professionally, she worked at GAC Shipping (Rice Unruh Reynolds Shipping Co.) in accounting, retiring in July of 2018. Nancy truly flourished in retirement surrounded by friends, loved ones and her beautiful dream home. Nancy is survived by her two children Brian Westergom (Mary) and Jessica Westergom; her stepson Christopher Westergom (Jodie); and her grandchildren Sophia, Molly, and Nathan Westergom. She was the sister to Ruth Jackson (Glenn), Bonnie Eppehimer (Thomas), and the late Frank Keller. Nancy was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, wife, aunt, grandmother, Honey to her Honeybee, coworker, neighbor, and friend. Nancy's family will greet friends on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. Remembrances of Nancy's Life will begin at 11 A.M. with a prayer and words from her children. We ask that friends, loved ones and family bring an anecdote to share in fond remembrance of Nancy. The family asks that any and all donations be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center. All gifted flowers will be hand delivered and donated to the nursing staff as a thank you from Nancy.
