Nancy Janet Wright, 83, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025.
Born on October 10, 1942, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Nancy was the daughter of the late George and Evelyn Brabant.
Nancy graduated from Durfee High School and went on to follow her lifelong calling of caring for others. She earned her nursing credentials from Truesdale Hospital College of Nursing, beginning a career that would span decades and leave a lasting impact on countless lives. As a Registered Nurse and Occupational Health Nurse, including her work with Supervalu, Nancy was deeply devoted to those she served.
Nancy was an avid knitter and crocheter, creating handmade treasures for those she loved. She was also a passionate reader, often found with a book in her hands. Over the years, she cared for and adored her pets, “Sammy, Sheba, Coco, and Rusty,” all of whom held special places in her life.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Don Lee Wright; and her brother, Robert Brabant.
She leaves behind her cherished children, Susan Buschman (Kent), Mark Tremblay (Signi), and Janet Neal (Craig). Nancy was the proud grandmother of Patrick Buschman, Katie Cagnet, Kelsey Davis, Whitney Tremblay, Patrick Tremblay, David Rose-Tremblay, Jakobe Tremblay, Cullen Neal, and Dalton Neal; and was the beloved great-grandmother of Evie, Mason, Maddox, Trey, Brennan, Corbyn, Holt, Cash, Hudson, Mac, and James. Nancy was also survived by her sister, Joyce Hallingstad. Her family was her heart, and she poured herself into them fully and joyfully.
