A graveside service to celebrate the life of Nancy Carolyn Zysek, 84, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Forest Park East, 3700 St Vincent Ave, Shreveport, Louisiana. The family will be meeting at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana, to process out to the cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor John Harp.
Nancy was born on April 29, 1938, in Capps City, Arkansas, to Luther R. Hale and Maggie Mason Hale, and passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Nancy’s hobbies were hands-on things like painting and making flower arrangements. She loved to joke around. She enjoyed listening to music. Nancy was a Godly woman who loved her grandchildren, family, and anyone she knew. Her grandchildren were her world, and she would do anything for them. She was loved by many and is going to be greatly missed.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Zysek; and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Lowring; son, Steve Childs; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Honoring Nancy as pallbearers will be Kenny Vierdag, Dalton Vierdag, Brock Vierdag, Ryker Vierdag, Kaiden Child’s, Wayne Chriss, Chris Williams, and Brian Orgeron.
