I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Varyani at the ambulatory center. He was always an excellent and hilarious doctor that some how always managed to get a smoke break in. I will miss his jokes.

Dearest Latta and family. How sad I am to learn of Dr. V's passing. I spoke with him about 2 yrs ago and we had a nice talk. It was a long time ago that we worked together when we left Deaconess together. He saved so many from so much pain. With sincere sympathy to all of you.

To say I am shocked and saddened is putting it mildly. I shall remember The Surgery Center Clambake where he and I did a Twist Contest to see who could stay down the longest bedore our knee's gave out. I beat him by a hair. We laughed so much and that is how I will choose to remember him by that laughter. I shall keep you close in prayer and May The Lord bless you, comfort you and give you strength in the days ahead.

Dear Nandlal Family. I was very shocked to learn about Nandlal's sad demise. Nandlal and myself finished school together (St. Bonaventures) and we're together in Govt. College Hyderabad (1966) and then parted ways. I just moved to Houston and was searching for Nandlal when I got this sad, sad news. May God rest his soul in peace & give him the best place in Heaven. We shared such good times together as children and I will always think fondly upon those times. Although I never met him, I heard great stories about him from my father. They were childhood friends since kindergarden. My father is very sad to hear about his best friends passing.
