Naoda was born on October 1, 1946, in Lead South Dakota, she made sure the world knew she’d arrived. She passed away on February 6, 2026, in Casper, Wyoming, after a brief illness—still feisty, still sassy, and still very much in charge.

Naoda was married to the love of her life, William “Bill” Adams. Together they built a loud, loving, creative, and fiercely loyal family—her proudest accomplishment, even if she occasionally pretended otherwise.

Surviving children: Pika Lynch of Broomfield, Colorado (spouse Kevin Lynch); grandchildren Portia Lukaszka (spouse Jeff; great-grandchildren Madilyn, Ellinor, and Colt), Brittney Clendennen (spouse John; great-grandchildren Briley and Alba), and Chelsea Lynch (spouse Doug Stewart); Brad Adams of Casper, Wyoming (spouse Kim); grandchildren Havyn, Irelyn Adams and Tristan Wilson; and Harlan Crow of Edna, Texas (spouse Shelia); grandchildren Karlie Crow and John Crow (spouse Steveney; great-grandchildren Liam and Kenneth), and Kenneth Crow (spouse Kimberly); and sister Wanda Thomson (spouse Allen).

In total, Naoda leaves 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren whom she loved and defended unapologetically.

She was welcomed into heaven by her parents, Joyce and Fred Lindell, and her sisters, Carol and Cheryle Lindell—undoubtedly greeted with laughter and probably a little side-eye.

Naoda spent 40 years as an Administrator for the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo, proving that organization, leadership, and a little sass could absolutely coexist. She also proudly reigned as the Queen Bee of the Red Hat Society of Casper, leading the group for many years with flair, friendship, and fabulous hats—because fun was serious business.

Naoda was loyal to her core, endlessly kind, and a fearless protector of everyone she loved. If you were “hers,” you were safe—no questions asked. She had a sense of adventure, a sharp wit, and a heart that made room for everyone.

Her creativity knew no limits. She was an accomplished artist in stained glass and painting, taught classes, had her artwork displayed, and could macramé just about anything. Her gardens were works of art themselves—so much so that she earned a beautification award for her home. Dirt under her nails and color everywhere else was her happy place.

And then there was the cooking. Any meal Naoda made was unforgettable. You didn’t leave her table hungry, emotionally or otherwise.

A service celebrating Naoda’s bold, beautiful life will be held at Bustard’s Funeral Home in Casper, Wyoming, at 1:00 p.m. on February 26, 2026, followed by a reception. Stories, laughter, and probably food are encouraged. We encourage western/Wyoming attire and as many Red Hats as we can fit.

Naoda will be remembered as loving, artistic, loyal, fierce, and unforgettable—and heaven just got a whole lot more stylish.
