Narda dedicated her life to teaching, obtaining a bachelors degree in education and teaching elementary school with AISD until retirement. She also followed her calling through primary teaching at church. Within her love of education, she recognized a need amongst younger children in the area of mental health and worked to help them recognize feelings of anxiety, depression, etc. and to navigate through them, and empower them.
Narda is survived by her father, Juan Lopez Olivares; her brothers, Florentino Lopez Mata and Ray Lopez Mata as well as many friends.
Recitation of Holy Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. with Mass following at 10:00 on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 10000 David Moore Dr., Austin, Texas.
