Nardie Jean Page Hamilton, age 89, Cookeville, TN, passed away March 14, 2026, at her home.

Nardie was born Dec. 16, 1936, the 7th of 13 children to Rose and Jesse Halsell Page.

She was a member of McClellan Ave Church of Christ. She loved her family and siblings and often talked about how they grew up. Always together and helping each other with house chores, and always had someone to play with. She attended Rosewald school for her elementary education, then attended and graduated Darwin school in Cookeville. She would often talk about how the trip was for them to get to and from school. She married Lyle Hamilton, and to this union 4 children were born. Nardie worked and retired from Stillman's, having worked there for a number of years. She had a great love for singing with her sisters, and as she cleaned her house.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Hamilton, grandson Bricen Strode, her parents, Rose and Jesse Page, 2 brothers, Charlie Ray Halsell and James Matthew Page. Her sisters Evelyn Ellis, Odean Gribble, Gertie Robert, Rosa Farley, Mattie Dowell, Flossie Bartlett, Claudette Willis, and Annie Peake.

She leaves to cherish her memory 4 children, Paul Hamilton, Norma Drummer, Pauline Hamilton, and Deborah Strode. 9 grandchildren, Byron Hamilton (Rachel), Renee and Teri Drummer, Kandi Hamilton, Samantha Saey, Kaya Willis, Klesa Johnson, Biancia Sullivan-Reed (Mary Ann), Anitra Cannon Elam (Marlin). Great Grand Children, Braelyn Hamilton, Jaylen, Jayden, and Jayson Cherry, LaShea and Ryker Strode, Noah Elliot, Savon Hamilton, Antonio Saey, Astarl McCallum, Ahmad Taylor (Katlyn), Alasia Renteria (Mario), Alana Vaughn, J'Kesa Hathoway, K-Sea Hill. 2 Sisters, Hilda Gist (LeRoy) and Kathlene Hamilton. Billy Hamilton (Mary Jo), Brother-in-Law, Sharon Stovall, Sister-in-Law, Ken Bartlett, Brother-in-Law. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Relatives, and Friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at McClellan Ave Church of Christ in Cookeville, Tennessee. A service for Nardie will start at 1:00 PM, with interment to follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
