Thank you for Mr. Narinder Kapany's contribution in pioneering as the “father of fiber optics,” who was one of the inventors of fiber optics technology.

The world is truly grateful for the many contributions made by Mr Narinder Kapany. Where would the world be without dedicated people such as Mr Kapany and we are truly thankful and grateful. To the family I am sorry for your loss and offer my sincere condolences.

My condolences to the family. Mr. Kapany had a very long life. I am grateful for his work and I and my family have benefited from his work. I've been in fiber optic telecommunications since 1986 and continue to be amazed at the technology's capabilities and it is still increasing. The equipment at either end of the fiber seems to improve every 3 years and the different applications for fiber in telecom continues in amazing ways to connect us. None of it would have been possible without his work, perseverance and the efforts of Mr. Kapany and Mr. Hopkins. His contributions and championing of STEM based learning has been a major accomplishment too.
