Retired Command Sergeant Major Nat L. Brown, 87, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023.
Nat was born in Lewisburg, TN and graduated from Marshall County High School. He left Tennessee to serve his country proudly in the United States Army.
While in the military, Nat was stationed in various places across the globe. While overseas, he met and married his soulmate, Carol.
Nat retired from the Army after 28 years and settled in El Paso, TX. Upon retiring, Nat worked as a substitute teacher for various schools in El Paso. He loved playing poker and watching any football game he could find on television.
Nat leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Carol, his son, Nathan, and his daughter, Mary.
A funeral mass will be held for Nat on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Burial will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors.
