Natasha Lea Mitchell, age 40, formerly of Anderson, Missouri, passed away suddenly at her residence in Humeston, Iowa, on Thursday, September 11, 2025. She entered this life on October 29, 1984, in Neosho, Missouri, born to the union of Thomas and Ronda Mitchell.

She was raised in Anderson, Missouri, and was a 2002 graduate of McDonald County High School. She furthered her education by attending Crowder College in Neosho. For the last few years, Natasha was an employee at Casey's General Store in Humeston, where she worked as a pizza cook.

Natasha's passions were as diverse as her talents. An avid rock hunter, she found joy in the simple pleasure of discovering hidden treasures in nature. Her artistic soul was evident in her love for art, which she both appreciated and created. Fishing was another of her favorite pastimes, providing her with moments of tranquility and a connection to the outdoors. Above all, Natasha was a gifted writer, using words to capture the beauty of the world around her and the depth of the human experience. Her sudden departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

She is survived by her two sons, Lukas Jones and Dominic Macfee; her parents, Thomas and Ronda Mitchell; a brother, Daniel Williams; two sisters, Jessica Daugherty and Brandi Heathington; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, September 18, 2025 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home.
