Nathalie Dupree

I first met Nathalie Dupree when dining at Nathalie's in Covington, Ga. It was a lovely dinner and Nathalie spent time with us (me and the young lady I was dating at the time) during and after dining.

I took companions to Nathalie's on three occasions, each time finding Nathalie to easily engage personally with us and her other guests. We were treated as if we were in her home. When Nathalie's closed, we mourned, along with a lot of other folks. But then.....

Over the years I followed her exciting career on PBS, etc. and, now retired, and spending time in the kitchen, her creations have become some of my favorite recipes.

As a chef and food innovator she was great. As a person she was special. I treasure the moments that we shared back in the day. I will not forget. Nathalie, you are in my heart forever.
