Sr. Blunt was my Spanish teacher all 3 years at WHS. He was truly an amazing person who helped shape me into the educator I am trying to be. Beyond the classroom, he was even more influential. Between Spanish club and our weekly gossip sessions during A-Lab, there was such a true connection. I could go to him about anything. Truly anything, from sports to girl drama to boyfriend problems, there was nothing that he was not willing to help me with. My favorite memories were when he caught a bat in the hall in a Tupperware bowl and when his wife would come in and help us cook during the foods lesson in Spanish 2. I would always make sure to make time to see him when I would sub at the high school after graduation. He is one of the few people that I kept in touch with. I will forever tell stories about him to my future classes with the goal to show that you can have an impact on students far beyond the classroom. I am truly grateful for the short amount of time that I was able to spend with Sr. Blunt.

I remember coming to your parents home for piano lesson each week and unfortunately didn't get to know you better, but what I remember is you were a very well mannered intelligent guy. My condolences to all your family and loved ones.
