Nathan Lee Douglas

August 7, 1943 to November 26, 2025.

Born August 7, 1943 to Blanche and Reuben Douglas in Columbia, Missouri. He lived in Missouri until moving to Boise when he was in the 5th grade.

In 1968, Lee was drafted into the Army to serve in the Vietnam war and spent 2 years in Germany as a private, repairing airplanes after completing the US Army Aviation School in October 1968. He was honorably discharged in August 1972.

Upon returning to the Idaho, Lee became a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways. He worked for Consolidated until he retired to work his second and third businesses of farming and the pallet business. Lee was always known for being a hard worker and never enjoying the fruits of his labor. Lee made many friends throughout his careers, many that he remained in contact with.

Lee was an avid hunter and fisherman. His hunts awarded him many trophies, which he loved to talk about. He loved to talk about the hunts and experiences, especially those in Canada and Alaska. He shared his love with his children, grandchildren, and friends.

Lee is preceded in death by his wife, Paulett and his best friend, Steve Spear.

Lee leaves three daughters, Carri Douglas, Kandy Doan, Jeanna (Randy) Matthews and a stepdaughter, Shawna (Zac) Ricketts, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He also leaves a brother, Steven (Wayne) Ash and stepbrother Jimmy (Debbie) Rogers.

At the request of Lee, no services will be held.
