Nathan D. Fosbaugh, 31, of Washington, died Wednesday, July 7, 2021, in his home.
He was born January 5, 1990, in Pittsburgh, a son of Carl Douglas Fosbaugh and Peggy J. Witt Fosbaugh (Harvey Risbon), both of Washington.
Nathan was a 2008 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and entered the Marine Corps following his graduation. During his time in the Marines, he earned the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal (Cuba), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
Once he returned home, he graduated from Penn Commercial where he earned his welding certifications and was presently employed by the RIP Group in Charleroi.
Nathan was a talented artist, loved riding his Harley and enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penquins.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Braeia Lister; a son, Aleczander Fosbaugh; maternal aunt, Judy Mur (Ed) of Bethel Park; paternal uncle, Gary Fosbaugh of Detour, Md.; paternal aunt, Robin Leady (Barry) of Washington; a step-grandfather, Hugh Humbert; and several cousins.
Deceased are his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Elsie Aultz Witt; paternal grandfather, Lawrence H. Fosbaugh; and paternal grandmother, Frances Zimmerman Fosbaugh Humbert.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, the time of service, Thursday, July 15, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
Full military rites will be accorded by the Honor Guard from Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 in Canonsburg and the Patriot Guard Riders.
