Nathan Kurt Kleiber

Nathan Kurt Kleiber, 71, of Kingsford passed away on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI.
Nathan was born in Iron Mountain, MI, on July 4, 1953, son of the late Eugene "Speed" and Patricia (Lange) Kleiber. Nathan graduated from Kingsford High School in the class of 1971. On May 26, 1979, he was married to Donna Lachapell at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Nathan was a skilled mechanic, working for Edward's until 1983, before opening his own shop, Nate's Automotive. Nathan had a big heart and very laid back demeanor. He was very approachable, making all of the neighborhood kids feel like they were part of his family. Nathan's aimless adventures in his '64 Chevelle will be missed by the whole family.
Nathan will be deeply missed by his wife, Donna; 3 sons, Christopher (Allie) Kleiber, Shane (Katie) Kleiber, and Justin (Tamara) Kleiber; 10 grandchildren, Elias, Macey, Amelia, Hallie, Evan, Carson, Nathan, Parker, Trenton, and Huxley Kleiber; sister Allyn Neff; and many other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Nathan is preceded in death by an infant son, Shawn Kleiber.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Quinnesec Cemetery.
