Nathan F. McCorkle, of Barbee Lake, passed away quietly on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the age of 62. He was born in Kokomo, Indiana on June 21, 1961, the son of Frederick and Betty McCorkle (Condo). 

Nathan grew up in the Kokomo area, graduating from Hayworth High School. After high school, he joined the United State Navy and served from August of 1985 to August of 1991. He was stationed on the USS Missouri during Desert Storm, and another time on the USS King. He later moved permanently to the family home on Barbee Lake. He worked at Shiloh Industries in Goshen since 2005. He enjoyed science fiction, reading, Star Trek, and lake activities.
Those who survive with his memories to cherish include his brother, Timothy McCorkle; Nephews and Nieces Frederick (Amanda) Berger, Timothy Berger, Elizabeth Annie (Matthew) Everts, Danielle Dwiggins; great nephews and nieces Meshell (David) Wilson, Landon Hoffman, Mora Everts, Cullen Everts, Paisley Gutierrez; and partner Linda Shireman. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Frederick and Betty McCorkle and sisters, Kathleen McCorkle and Elizabeth “Elaine” McCorkle.
Titus Funeral Home of North Webster is entrusted with the care of Nathan. Friends and family may gather for visitation on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the funeral home, 8056 E 500 N, North Webster, IN 46555, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. At 7:00 pm, the funeral service will begin with Pastor Tim Farley officiating. He will be laid to rest with his parents and sister in Kokomo Memorial Park on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Lifetouch Ministries, or the Cancer Care Fund, both in Warsaw, IN. To leave a condolence, please visit www.TitusFuneralHome.com
