Nathan Paul Meyer, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and artist passed away on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, at his home.
Born on October 7th, 1968, in Medford, WI, Nathan found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an enthusiastic gardener, nurturing his garden with the same care and dedication he showed to his family and friends. He was also known for his passion for mushroom hunting, often sharing his treasures with loved ones. His love for the outdoors was evident in his many pursuits, he enjoyed spending much of his time in the serene woods of the family's beloved land, "Waltanna," where he enjoyed walking, skiing, and blackberry picking. Nathan had a special affinity for silent sports, where he could immerse himself in the beauty of nature, finding peace and inspiration in every season.
Nathan was a celebrated artist, through sculpture, carving, and stained glass, amongst other media. His recent artistic accomplishments were through the restoration of church-stained glass windows, preserving them so that for many years they could be enjoyed with their congregations. His home, the historical "Perkins Place," served not only as his residence but also as an art gallery for family, friends, and art enthusiasts to visit. Nathan loved driving around in his collector's 1969 Chevy C-10 truck and taking trips on his Harley Davidson 1973 Shovelhead Motorcycle, as well as fishing, and traveling.
Nathan is lovingly survived by his father, James Meyer; his 3 brothers, Kevin Meyer (Jackie), Brad Meyer (Rachel), and Phillip Meyer (Marzena); Nieces and Nephews, Justin Fuchs (Sheena), Lindsey Meyer, Ashley Meyer-Soppa (Kayd), MaKayla Meyer-Moser (Alex), and Henry Meyer; as well as his aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Doris Meyer, and his maternal grandparents, Paul and Esther Kramas, Lucy Kramas, and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Harriet Meyer.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th from 9:30am until the time of service at 12:30pm at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford. Burial to follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. Following the interment, a luncheon will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Social Hall.
