I remember you fiercely. You were a force to be reckoned with - a true friend. You supported our crew with your vibrant personality, lifting spirits when days felt long and difficult. You made us laugh, helped us smile, and reminded us what camaraderie truly meant.

My fondest memories of you are from our time aboard the USS Carl Vinson - doing things you probably shouldn´t have been doing, and shrugging it off with that effortless charm that made us all laugh. You were incredible. I hope you are at peace now, and that you know how deeply you are loved - by all of us here, and by God, who now wraps His arms around you.

Your fellow Sailors - those who shared so many good memories with you - reached out to let us know that you are with God now. Please know that you´ve always remained in our hearts over the years, even when our paths no longer crossed. Your extended Navy family has carried fond, loving memories of you all this time.

Loving wishes to your family.
Forever - From CVN 70

I served with Piernik onboard the USS Carl Vinson, I was one of his LPOs. Piernik was a great shipmate, he protected the ones he loved, he was one of the hardest workers on my team, and I could always count on him to take ownership of a situation and see it through to completion. He's the guy you would wanna be in a foxhole with. The world lost a great one. Farwell and Following seas my friend.
