Nathan K. Wiesenberg Sr.
Age 88, of Monroe, died Monday, March 24, 2025 at SSM Monroe Hospital. Nate was born on June 12, 1936 in Monroe, the son of Erwin and Martha (Kline) Wiesenberg. He was united in marriage to Priscilla Ammann on March 7, 1974. He attended school in Monroe and worked for Monroe Ready Mix for many years. Later, Nate owned Tri State Concrete and most recently was employed as a truck driver for Terry Johnson and Caledonia Trucking until retiring. He has resided at the Lena Living Center for the past two years. In his younger years, Nate loved outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Penny Wiesenberg of the New Glarus Home; six children, Debbie Wiesenberg, Daniel (Donna) Wiesenberg, Denise Wiesenberg, Cammy (Aric) Goldschmidt, Carie Rackow, Shelby McNett; daughter-in-law, Candace Wiesenberg; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Dennis and Nathan Jr.; four brothers and one sister.
A private family service will be held at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Monroe, on Friday, April 4, 2025, with Dennis Perger officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Saucerman Cemetery, Cadiz Township. A memorial fund will be established in his name. Condolences may be shared at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net
