Nathanalee Diane Pederson age 90 passed away on February 19, 2025, surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerome and parents Ruben and Frances Peterson
Diane was born March 20, 1934, in Minneapolis, MN and moved to Atwater where she grew up and graduated from Atwater High School in 1952 as class salutatorian. She attended Macalester College, where she studied English and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1957. On September 1, 1956, she married Jerome Pederson in Minneapolis, MN. After graduating from college, she worked as a copyright writer, a realtor, teacher and volunteered and served on the board for a local charity, The Closet, in Herndon, VA.
Diane is survived by her sons; Kent (Pam) Pederson of Novi, MI and Brian (Deb) Pederson of Brooklyn Park, MN, and four grandsons, Christian, Kyle, Brent, and Ryan,
She will always be remembered as a loving & devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society.
Funeral Service: 12 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Tordenskjold Free Lutheran Church in rural Underwood, MN.
Clergy: Pastor Mark Johnson
Interment: Tordenskjold Lutheran Cemetery, rural Underwood, MN.
Arrangements are with Olson Funeral and Cremation in Fergus Falls.
