Yesterday
Bro. Nate was a wonderful musician; he recently played for us in January during church services after he moved back from Ohio. He was very gifted in playing the organ, keyboard, and piano as well as playing by ear. We met him some years ago and he would always greet you with a smile and say Happy Sunday or Saturday or whatever the day of the week it was. His playing the organ, keyboard, or piano during church services brought a lot of joy to the congregation and glory to God. He seemed to light up with smiles and joy as played. He certainly will be missed. Our prayers and condolences go out to his family and friends. God bless - Pastor E. Sharlette White

Nate was a brilliant musician rooted in the church but also versatile enough to play anything anywhere. I once went shopping at Nordstroms and discovered that the live easy listening style piano music heard throughout the store was none other than nate. He had that rare ability to memorize and play countless song standards by ear in any key.
