Natividad Yanos Obituary
On the evening of August 27, 2025 at 6:33 p.m. our beloved Mama, Natividad D. Yanos, gently slipped into eternal rest at the remarkable age of 101. Though our hearts ache, we are filled with gratitude for century of love, laughter, and wisdom she gifted us.
Born on November 10, 1923, in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Mama embodied faith, strength, and joy. She was the foundation of our family…the one who prayed for us, comforted us and filled our lives with laughter. Her life was not just measured in years but in the countless ways she made each of us fell loved. Mama often shared her "secret" to a long and happy life: " Have lots of S.E.X.- Sleep well, Eat well, and eXercise well. " With her playful grin, she'd add, " And when God takes a roll call, don't raise your hand and don't say "Present!" That was Mama full of humor, wisdom, and light, teaching us to live well and laugh often.
She is survived by her children: Nelda (Grip), Mario (Hedy), Zella, Jay (Lisa), and Luchie (Polly); her grandchildren: Grant (Jeanne), Rona (Paul), Jaye Ann (Don), Janea (Jason), Justin (Kristen), Jimby, Rissa (Joseph), JD and Irene; her great grandchildren: Jealizza, Keiluv, Jordan, Jaxston, Jaxon, Jacob, Kylie, Jianna and Leah. She now rejoins her beloved husband, Irineo in eternal peace.
