Navnit B. Upadhyay

Navnit B. Upadhyay, 70, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Navnit was born in Mumbai, India, in 1954, and came to the US in 1981. He earned his PhD in Polymer Science at UMass Lowell, and MBA at Baldwin Wallace University. Navnit had a successful career of thirty-nine years that he enjoyed at Lanxess Corporation. He was passionate about his sales and marketing work and still had not yet decided to retire. Navnit married Kailas Upadhyay on May 9, 1984, and they shared 41 years of marriage together. He was a kind and loving husband, and father of three to Sri, Shiv, and Krupa. He took great pride in his family, and always supported anyone in need and was generous with his time. He valued his independence and worked hard for all he had built and earned. He will be dearly missed by his family. Remaining to cherish Navnit's memory are his wife Kailas, daughter Sri, son Shiv, and all of the many friends and colleagues whose lives he touched through the years.
