Nazario Morales

Nazario Morales passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026 at the age of 90.

Nazario is survived by his children David Morales, Daniel Morales, Lillian Morales-Byers (Matthew) and Jonathan (Suzi) Morales: his grandchildren, Devin (Alexis) Bombay, Carine Ramirez (Christopher) Lucas Nazario Morales and Joel Theodore "JT" Morales, and his brothers Jose (Hilda) Morales, Carlos Morales and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Miriam Zoraida Morales; his parents Antonio & Carman Morales and siblings Fidel, Antonia, Georgina, Mercedes, Aorelina, Maria, Jesus & Ruben.

Nazario, also known as Nick was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, a wonderful husband, father and Papa. A man whose faith shaped every part of his life. He dedicated decades to ministry and service found and pastoring St. Matthew Assembly of God in Westchester, PA. He also pastored a Spanish church in Passaic NJ and served as mentor and Board member at Englewood Assembly of God and also founded a successful Pest Control Company ,"Effective Pest Control" ,and was President until his retirement. Throughout his life, he carried all of his titles and responsibilities with humility, integrity and purpose.

A gifted teacher and translator, Nazario served as a Bible teacher, advisor and translator for many missions trips to multiple Latin countries. He was actively serving in church in whatever capacity he could as he lived to serve. His faith community was central to his life and his service was always given quietly and wholeheartedly.

Outside of ministry, Nazario during joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved baseball "Go Mets!", reading his Bible, newspaper and Readers Digest, swimming, cooking and gardening. He cherished time spent playing Rummy and Dominoes with family and dear friends. These moments of laughter, conversation, and companionship were among his greatest joys.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Nazario's life on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Swartz/Givnish Funeral Home, 323 E. Washington Avenue, Newtown, PA 18940. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026 @ 10am @ Swartz/Givnish Funeral Home with interment immediately following at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nazario's memory may be made to Samaritan's Purse.
