My Uncle Neal was sincere, had a warm personality, and was just a very kind and gentle man who would do anything for anyone. His eyes sparkled when he smiled and his laugh was unforgettable. I have so many specific first hand memories of him throughout my childhood that I'll never forget. The most special memory I have of him is running up to him and jumping into his arms to give him a hug as we greeted one another. I'd say his name "Uncle Neato". He would always respond with "Ayyyy" like The Fonz on 'Happy Days'. As I got older, there was no longer any running or jumping, but our cute little greeting remained the same for over 50 years. For over 50 years, we smiled and laughed every time we saw one another. There was an unspoken, yet mutual love and respect for each other imbedded within our greeting. It was a unique gift that he gave me and I'll never forget it...or him. I'll miss you Uncle Neato and look forward to the next time I hear you say "Ayyyy". Sam, Adam, and Diana... I'm so proud to hear that you're all doing well and are happy and healthy! I miss you guys! And I'm so saddened by your Dad's passing. He was the BEST. You guys were soooo lucky to have him as a Dad. He was truly a wonderful man and I'll NEVER forget him. Aunt Joann, I hope and pray your sadness and grief is healed quickly and you ,continue to honor him within the legacy of our families. Much love to all of you, Lisa Carpentieri-Sorensen

How many people can say they have had a friend for 60 years? Neal was always around when friends needed work done. He was a unique individual loved by all who knew him.

So sorry to learn of Neil´s passing. Mickey and Fran were friends from years ago. Mick always spoke highly of his brother. Our family has worked on your pump and always mentioned to us what a pleasant man Neil was and enjoyed talking with him. . Thinking of you. Sincerely Tom & Judy Nigro
