Neal Lambert Obituary
In addition to his mother, Neal was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Wayne Lambert, and his maternal grandparents, C.G. and Sheila Glenn.
Neal proudly served his country as a United States Navy veteran. He was assigned to the USS America and was stationed at Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Florida. Following his military service, he became the owner and operator of Lambert Construction.
Neal grew up in Blountsville, Alabama, and made his home in Bessemer City, North Carolina, where he had lived since 1986. He was a member of United Veterans of America and was passionate about University of Alabama football, golfing, fishing, and traveling.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of nearly 42 years, Rhonda Lambert; his children, Brandon Lambert, Ciara Lambert, and Blake Lambert; his sister, Jennifer Lambert Dutton (Mike); his brother, Dean Lambert (Janet); and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at First Assembly.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, at First Assembly, with Pastor Anthony Day officiating.
Interment with military honors will follow at Westview Gardens Cemetery.
