Neal DeWitt Stechman

Karen & Family, I was so sorry to just learn at St.Paul's this morning of Neal's passing. I have many good memories of Neal from our days together at CSX. I always admired Neal's dedication to the railroad and customers, to the safety and well-being of his colleagues, but most of all, his love for you and Kristy. We had our share of night and weekend 'railroad chats' over the years.
My fondest memories of Neal were playing basketball with him at the Mayport gym, in the summer intramural games that he organized. My, Neal was a gentle giant...but not on the basketball court. What fun!
I know what a deep faith Neal had. He never hesitated to share that gift with his friends.Wishing you our most sincere condolences in your great loss.
