I grew up in the same neighborhood with Ned (and Ty and Dia), and I remember him as being the nicest guy. He was always the one who made sure everyone got a chance to catch the ball or get a turn at something. He learned to play drums as a teenager and sounded amazing to me. I was jealous because we didn't have a free standing house, so I wasn't allowed to play drums since it would bother the neighbors too much. I'm so sorry Ned didn't last longer! I didn't find out about his passing until recently. Such a good guy.

I worked with Ned at CyberOptics. Ned would call me often for support and we had a great working relationship. I recently resigned from my position and Ned sent me a nice note and suggested we should get together for dinner the next time he was in Minneapolis. I would have loved to see him again and I was shocked to hear about his passing. He will be missed by me and all of CyberOptics!

When the news was confirmed it was one of disbelief. I had worked with Ned for 7 years during which he was always a professional and personable person to be around.
Prayers go out to his family during this tough time.

My sincerest condolences to all of Ned's beloved family and dear friends. Ned certainly will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. I just started working with Ned a couple of months ago, but he was one of those great, genuine people that you quickly realize as "one of the good ones." This is a regretful loss for society as a whole. May God be with all of you, and your faith comfort you through this difficult loss.
Rest in peace, Ned, and thank you for your time and generosity as a coworker, friend, and fellow man.

I worked with Ned at CyberOptics for four years. Always enjoyed when he walked into work. I knew it was going to be a fun day. You could tell he enjoyed the teaching part of his job.
The news of his passing was/is a complete shock. He'll be truly missed. - Dee
