Neil J. Dvorak, 88, of Browerville, MN passed away peacefully at The Moments in Lakeville, MN on February 9, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Church of Christ in Staples, MN. There will be a visitation at the church at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the start of the service. Lunch will follow. Burial with military honors will be at Moran Riverside Cemetery.
Neil was born to James and Caroline (Hanson) Dvorak on September 25, 1935, in Wadena, MN. In 1955 he received an Agriculture Degree from the University of MN. Neil then served for 2 years in Korea with the United States Army. During his time in Korea, he enjoyed his primary role as a photographer.
Neil was a lifelong dairy farmer who loved his land and animals. In his free time, he enjoyed spending a peaceful day on the lake fishing and capturing nature through the photography skills he picked up while in the service. Neil was also very proud of his Norwegian and Czechoslovakian heritage.
Neil is survived by his sister Judy Germann, nephews Todd (Terry Rimer) Germann and Chris (Lisa) Germann, his grandnephew Hakon Germann, grandniece Maren Germann, and many cousins, friends, and wonderful neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Caroline Dvorak.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
