Neil Fieldman, 94, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, at his home in Longmeadow, MA. He was born in Springfield, MA to the late Israel and Goldie Fieldman (Cohen). Neil was a graduate of Brandeis University and Boston University School of Law and he practiced law for 50+ years in Springfield. Neil was predeceased by his longtime partner, Marilyn Leveillee, and his brothers, Jesse (Leona) Fieldman and Arnold Fieldman. He is survived by his two children, Judge Steven (Janet) Fieldman, and Tina (Matt) Suppinger, as well as his grandson, Travis Fieldman-Adams and sister-in-law Sheila Fieldman (Arnold's wife). He held special fondness for his nieces and nephews, Bruce, Gary and Debbie Fieldman; and Jeff (Lauren) Fieldman and Donna Ross, as well as his longtime partner's children and grandchildren; Brad Leveillee, Bret (Cynthia) Leveille and Brenda Leveillee. A lifelong Red Sox fan, he was fond of telling his family, "Wait 'til next year!" Neil's graveside funeral service will be Friday October 24 at 9:00 AM at Sons of Israel Cemetery, 904 Wilbraham Rd. in Springfield. My first full-time job as a lawyer was with Neil in 1977 and 1978. He and Marilyn were very kind to me. My condolences to Steven, Tina, Bruce, Debbie, Gary, and the Leveillees.
