Neil Lemme Obituary
Born in Highland Park, Illinois, Neil was the eldest son of Harry and Mary (Natta) Lemme. He and his wife, Jane, raised two children, Neil "JR" Lemme and daughter Stephanie (Lemme) Healy.
Neil owned TaskMasters, a contacting company in both Chicago, IL and Pentwater, MI. In 1999, Neil and Jane moved to Pentwater where they owned Gardener's Folly, a resort lifestyle store.
Neil was active in the business community. He served as Executive Director of the Pentwater Chamber of Commerce and was a board member of the Downtown Development Association. He also chaired several charitable organizations to raise funds for the Pentwater School and Hospice.
Neil enjoyed golf and sailing and he was a talented amateur photographer. In retirement, Neil and Jane moved to Tucson to be closer to their daughter and grandchildren. They joined St. Pius X Catholic Church where Neil was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #10762.
Neil is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jane; son JR Lemme (Candy); daughter Stephanie (Lemme) Healy ( Tim); grandchildren Ella and Hudson Healy; and brothers Michael Lemme (Valerie) and Peter Lemme.
A Mass celebrating Neil's life will be celebrated at 11a.m. On Saturday, November 15 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Tucson. A celebration of life will take place in Pentwater, Michigan at a later date.
