On behalf of the Fitzgerald family, including our late parents, Bill and Jean, we extend our most sincere sympathy on the loss of Neil. His smile and sincerity in every interaction for more than 40 years, and likewise previously with his Dad, Charlie, Colonial Cleaners was a valuable and most pleasant presence in our neighborhood. Neil's and the staff's kindnesses and expertise through the years were much appreciated -- from drapes, suits, dresses, shirts, and trousers, as well as our Dad's Deacon garments, prom dresses, Navy uniforms, and Siena College academic regalia. He and his family were truly outstanding entrepreneurs, devoted to their customers. We will always remember Colonial Cleaners as our "go-to." May Neil rest in peace -- now his work is done -- so very well.

To the Levine Family. I am so sorry to hear of your husband, dad and grandfather's passing. He was such a nice man, very pleasant to talk to. I started using their cleaners a couple years back until now. Will miss them and their business. Peace be with you all.

I am so sorry to know of Neil's passing. I'm a long-time customer and when I'd come to drop off or pick up items, I was always so happy to encounter Neil, and we'd have a good and friendly conversation about Albany or the state of the world. I really enjoyed our conversations; this is what a family-owned business does, allow the personal as an integral part of doing business. I've enjoyed talking with Jaime too. Truly I will miss both, as well as Colonial itself, but most of all Neil's genuine conversation and interaction. Blessings and peace to the family.

Dear Family
I am so deeply family for your loss
We had the best conversations about life me growing up in NYC and his life here. Learning about our different cultures yet seeing we are the same. I will miss him dearly.

To the Levine family,
Please accept our sincere sympathies during this difficult time. We've known Neil for decades and remember his father as well. We could not express anything other than he was such a kind man and lovely businessman. Neil was always reliable and accommodating going above and beyond at times, which we always appreciated. We are going to miss all the lovely chats about cats, houses, life and his happy smile. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers to find peace along with comfort. Neil will be so missed.
