Nelda Lee Brewer

Nelda Lee Brewer, 65, of Fordyce died Thursday April 2, 2009 at the Dallas County Medical Center. Born August 9, 1943 at Grapevine, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Marie DeMoss. Nelda was a member of Thornton 1st Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a clerk for Hickey's and Grand Leader. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Survivors include her husband, who she married May 26, 1962, Lloyd E. (Buddy) Brewer of Fordyce; one daughter, April Doggett and her husband, Kevin of Warren; one sister, Linda Gavin of Herbine; one grandson, Andrew Doggett of Warren; two nieces, one nephew and a host of loving friends. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby George and Rev.
