Nelda Philpot Obituary
Nelda Leda Philpot, age 76 of Russellville, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at her home.
She was born September 11, 1946, in Appleton to the late Troy Williams and Ima Lee Williams. Nelda was a graduate of Arkansas Tech Nursing School. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Philpot Sr.; her son, Tracy Philpot and a great grand daughter, Whitley Grace Freeman.
Survivors include her three children, Darla Eckhardt (Chris) of Waukomis, Oklahoma, Jim Philpot Jr. of Russellville, Steven Philpot of Russellville; brothers and sister, Bill Williams of St. Louis, Missouri, Larry Williams of Visalia, California, Kay Best of Visalia, California, Scott Williams of Visalia, California; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle.

I was not aware that Nelda had passed away...we had a lot of fun as children... sadly I don't have a lot of family left from my father's side of the family..(William Westerman).. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Worked with Nelda at Russellville Nursing Center for many years on 3-11 shift. I loved her like a mom and friend. She kept me laughing. Prayers and hugs to the family. She loved her family, spoke about them all the time. She will be missed.
