Nellie Ann Campbell, 64, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Helen Keller Hospital. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Marcus Lipscomb officiating. Burial will be at Owen Chapel Cemetery.
Born on March 17, 1961, to Elmer and Lois Borden Peoples. Nellie Jo who everyone knew her as worked at Western Sirloin Steakhouse for 28 years. Nellie Jo loved everyone she met and always had a smile on her face. Her favorite thing to do was to support her grandchildren in anything they did. She would even skip one of her beach trips to be able to be at a game of theirs. Nellie Jo always brought joy to the people she met in the community, and Western Sirloin will not be the same without her.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Randy Campbell ; children, Casey (LaSherri) Campbell, Lucas (Molly) Campbell, Justin (Taylor) Campbell, and Pam (Andrew) Parker; grandchildren, Gabe Campbell, Layla Campbell, Brantley Stricklin, Braxton Campbell, Lainee Campbell, Maddie Campbell, and Lettie Campbell; brothers, Bob (Dianne) Peoples and Chris Peoples; aunt, Ruth Hughes; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lois Peoples; brothers, Thomas Peoples and Daniel "Tojo" Peoples.
Pallbearers will be Kaleb Warren, Andrew Parker, David Jones, Aaron Jones, Johnathan Jones, and Jacob Williamson.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Helen Keller Hospital, and all of our family and friends from the Steakhouse who have helped us.
