Nellie Francois "Faye" Delafosse

Nellie "Faye" Francois Delafosse passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the age of 79. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Faye is survived by two daughters, Candace Fontenot (Keith), Lori Moosa (Steven); two brothers, Russel Francois (Rebecca), Clint Francois (Elizabeth); one sister, Joanne Dupre (Henry); five grandchildren, Jacob Fontenot (Jade), Brandon Fontenot, Shelby Andrews (James), Sarah Moose (Kirtland Denenberg), John Moosa (Samantha); eight great-grandchildren, Rylie Fontenot, Nora Fontenot, Maria Fontenot, Charlotte Fontenot, Eliza Fontenot, Henry Moosa, Valerie Moosa and Cedar Danenberg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Cliff" Delafosse; her parents, Albert and Esther Fruge Francois and one brother, Jessie Francois. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Jude's in honor of Faye.
