Nellie Opal Linebeck

Nellie Opal Linebeck, age 75, of Adrian, MI, passed away on September 26th, 2025. Nellie was born in Adrian, Michigan, the youngest of eleven siblings to Julia & Ellsworth Jones on May 18th 1950. Nellie is survived by her children - Penny (Peter) of Virginia, Lynn of Adrian, Julia of Tecumseh, Tim of Jasper, Paul of Michigan, Billy Joe of Michigan and Tom of Michigan. Her four beautiful granddaughters who will miss her dearly- Ivy, Caitlin, Christina and Madeline, as well as many nieces & nephews. She will be missed by her siblings- Casey Jones of Florida, Shirley Snead of Clayton, Michigan, Betty Carroll of Adrian, Michigan, and Norman "Tuffy" Jones also of Adrian, Michigan. Nellie will be welcomed to heaven by her parents, Julia & Ellsworth Jones; siblings, Lavera Winters, Lawrence Jones, May Tripp, Ellsworth "Peanut" Jones, Norma McKinney, Julia Moore and Ernie Jones. Nellie was a simple person, a kind and gentle soul, who loved her family unconditionally and would give away anything to help others. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.
