Her independent spirit and determination is something I will always remember about her. I am glad my children were able to visit with her & go caroling at her house. The curve in the Flint Hill Church Rd. community will be much emptier without her. God bless the family.

Nellie was such a loving woman. She took care of all of us Flint Hill kids. I remember walking to the shop and getting my hair cut many times! She made sure to take the youth group wherever we wanted to go, when we wanted to go. Bless her heart, she made more trips to Duff's in Gastonia, Carowinds and Silver Dollar City, just to make us happy.
I am very blessed to have had Nellie in my life, to talk to anytime about anything.She always made time for me and the rest of the youth. I would have been lost without her.
The entire family is in my thoughts and prayers. I am so very sorry for your loss. If ever anyone made it to Heaven, it was this precious lady, who always made time for everyone! Rest In Peace Momma Nellie, I will always love you!
