Of Williamsville, NY and Jupiter, FL; age 79. Passed away peacefully on April 28th following a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of Patricia M. (nee Blacher) Civello. Devoted father of Lauren S. Civello (Sherri Gottschalk) Loving son of the late Nelson V. and Antoinette B. Civello. Dear brother of Carole Mikolajczak, Judith (Timothy) Miller, Donna Civello and Dianna Civello. He is also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews. Family will be present on Thursday, May 1st from 3-7p.m. at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (corner of Hopkins Rd.). A Celebration of Life will be offered on Friday, May 2nd at 9:30 a.m. at Christ the King Chapel at Canisius University, where Nelson was a Trustee Emeritus, Professor Emeritus, Distinguished Alumnus and Honorary Doctorate recipient. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nelson D. Civello Family Financial Markets Lab at Canisius University, P.O. Box 8000, Department 177, Buffalo, NY 14240.
