Nesta Kaye Beamon Green, 70, passed away on February 20, 2025 in Athens, TX.
She was born on February 14, 1955 in Big Springs, TX, to Kenneth and Helen Beamon.
Kaye grew up in Malakoff and raised her children here. When her health would allow, you would always find her at her children's and grandchildren's sports activities and school activities. She loved her family dearly. And her love for her husband, Alvin, was a love which knew no bounds. Kaye enjoyed crafting and cooking. While in the nursing home the past several months, you would find her teaching the residents and staff how to make wreaths and hair bows. She was an excellent cook. She was famous for her homemade peanut brittle.
Kaye is preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Helen Beamon; sister Helen Almond; and brother Roy Joe Beamon.
She is survived by her spouse Alvin Green; children Brandy Beamon Rogers, Antrone Henderson, Karin Elizabeth Beamon, April (Nytesha Strickland) Beamon, Amanda Beamon, Marcus Beamon; brother Kenny Beamon; grandchildren Daishia Bailey, DeBraishia Rogers, DeMarcus Rogers II, Bethany Cottrell, Britni Beamon, Adrian Beamon, Chauncey Henderson, Tylee Henderson, Tristan Henderson; great-grandchildren Alailah Dawson, Addilyn Jade Sides, Xander Don Dwayne Sides, and Troup Kameron Cottrell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Antrone Henderson, Marcus Beamon, Adrian Beamon, Chauncey Henderson, Danny Gonzalez, Jaylynn Gauldarama, and Jordan Gonzalez.
Visitation is set for 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, TX.
Service is 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home with Bro. Vincent Bailey Jr. officiating. After the service, the family will meet at the Community Center on North Terry Street.
