Netera Harrison Obituary
Netera Ann Steward Harrison passed away January 8, 2023 at the age of 62. She was born September 7, 1961 to the late Obie Boyd Steward and Lacy Meeks Steward McGill.
Netera dedicated over 30 years to her career as a dental hygienist in Selma before retiring. Her impeccable service and compassionate nature touched the lives of countless patients. As an avid sports enthusiast, Netera found great pleasure in following various sports and had a special love for animals. Engaging in lively discussions and cheering for her favorite teams brought excitement to her days. Netera held a deep appreciation for travel and cherished spending quality time with her grandchildren. Whether it was exploring new destinations or creating lasting memories with her loved ones, she found great joy in these precious moments.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Brian McGill, James Britton Steward.
She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany (John) Sheehan; son, Tommy (Erica) Chance; friend, Mark Harrison; grandchildren, Olivia, Emersyn, Callen, Chapel and Blaze; brothers, Darrell (Monica) Steward and Clay Steward; sisters, Robin Hale and Lisa Williamson; uncle, Benson Steward; aunt, Cynthia (Robert) Vickery and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Harrison, Troy Harrison, John Sheehan, Deaven Steward, Dayton Hale and Dawson Hale.
