Dear Aunt Nettie,
Here we are in 2015 and 10 years since you transitioned from your earthly home to your heavenly home. We think and speak of you often; however words cannot mend the heartache of losing you. Together we find strength and peace through cherished memories and happy moments. In remembrance of beloved family members that were unafraid like you and danced a jig upon hearing the Lord call them home.
With love from your great-niece,
La Toya Swift-Murdock; Nashville,TN

I know it seems strange for a stranger to write a memorial, but somehow I came across her obituary and was in awe. She seems like such a wonderful lady and her class is priceless. She sets a great example of how we all should live. Blessings to the family members of this amazing lady.

Dear Great Aunt Nettie,
Please know I miss visiting your home sitting on the porch and eating dinner on beautiful china dishes.

To the family of Nettie: May the comfort from family and friends continue to strengthen you, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

Bless you Miss Nettie Armand-Blutcher. May you rest in peace. I did not know you personally, but people like you are why I love New Orleans. The city isn't the same without you and all the others who were called by the flood waters and heat. Regards,
