Neva Christenson

Neva Grace (Stevens) Christenson, age 86, of St. Charles, MN, died Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Neva Grace was born August 31, 1938 in Saint Charles Township, Winona County. She was united in marriage to Alan Storm, and to this union five children were born. The couple later divorced. She married Mark Christenson on June 29, 1979 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Charles. 

Being blessed with the talent of baking and cake decorating, Neva worked many years at Mr. P’s Bakery, sharing her gift over the years with countless wedding and birthday cakes and other confectionary treats made with love.

She enjoyed fishing, sewing, outings to the casino with friends, collecting precious moments figurines, and putting together a good puzzle.

She is survived by her sons, Randy Storm of Austin, MN, Dale Storm of St. Charles, MN, Rick Storm of St. Charles, MN, and Ronnie (Sandy) Storm of Omaha, Arkansas; her daughter-in-law, Marcy Storm; her grandchildren Jeremy Storm, Sara Storm, Tina (Rith) Heang, Vanessa Storm, Jessica Storm, and Tyler (Kim) Storm; and step-grandchildren Jennifer (Tobin) Lawver and John Bailey. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren Caleb Storm, D’vonte Cha, Ellie Snow, Jalin Sithisane, Xavier Heang, Khairus Heang, Austin Storm, Jacy Storm, Lincoln Storm; and step great-grandchildren William Bailey, Joseph Paulson, Emma Lawver, Christian Lawver, and Ceila Heang. She is also survived by her sisters Janet Dailey, Janice Harnack, and Dora Dahl.

Neva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mark; her infant daughter, Cindy; her step-daughter Jul lea Bailey; her siblings Bob, Bill, and Ed Stevens, and Margie Buckley.

A visitation for Neva will be held at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Services, 519 St Martin Avenue, Saint Charles, MN on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home, followed by burial in the Hillside Cemetery.
