Neva Crumb Obituary
Memorial Services for Neva Joyce Crumb, 95, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Penwell-Gable, 14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, Kansas. Reception and visitation will follow.
Neva J. Crumb, a long-time resident of Emporia and Topeka, was a faithful wife, mother to four children, and friend to many in her church and neighborhood. She was born on October 23, 1930, in Pretty Prairie, Kansas, the daughter of Walter J. and Mabel Stucky Graber. She graduated from Pretty Prairie High School in 1948. She was married to Glenn H. Crumb on November 24, 1950, in Pretty Prairie.
She is survived by daughters Judith K. Ball and Nancy J. Hinten (Marv), son Steven R. Crumb (Susan), daughter-in-law Libby Crumb Sweeney, and brother Larry Graber. She was preceded in death by husband Glenn H. Crumb, brothers, Donald Graber (Dorothy), Eldon Dale Graber, Ronald Graber (Berma), Richard Graber (Cathy), son James A. Crumb (Libby), and son-in-law Larry Ball (Judith). She had 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army Topeka Corps (1320 SE 6th Ave, Topeka, KS, 66607) or the Glenn H. & James A. Crumb Physical Sciences Fund at the Emporia State Foundation (1500 Highland Street, Emporia, KS, 66801).
